Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 lb (450 g) mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tsp Hungarian sweet paprika
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups (1 L) vegetable or chicken broth
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon


Instructions

  1. Sauté onion in butter and olive oil until translucent.
  2. Add mushrooms and cook until browned.
  3. Sprinkle paprika and flour, stir well.
  4. Gradually add broth, simmer 10 minutes.
  5. Stir in milk, sour cream, soy sauce, dill, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  6. Simmer 5 more minutes without boiling.
  7. Serve hot with dill garnish and bread.
