Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1 lb (450 g) mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tsp Hungarian sweet paprika
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 4 cups (1 L) vegetable or chicken broth
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
Instructions
- Sauté onion in butter and olive oil until translucent.
- Add mushrooms and cook until browned.
- Sprinkle paprika and flour, stir well.
- Gradually add broth, simmer 10 minutes.
- Stir in milk, sour cream, soy sauce, dill, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
- Simmer 5 more minutes without boiling.
- Serve hot with dill garnish and bread.
